Each starfish platter and bowl are hand-thrown, every piece is unique and no two are alike. A starfish
is pressed into the clay while it is wet, crushed glass fills the impression and fuses to the plate during the final glaze firing. These dishes are dishwasher safe but not recommended for the microwave or oven. This original Grace design is perfect for a gift or as a serving piece to complement your everyday dinnerware! As these are my best selling items I will make every effort to keep this page updated.
When ordering a starfish piece, please be aware that glass liquifies at 1450º F and may run out of the impression when fusing to the plate. Contact me for a special piece or certain colors. Available glass colors are Turquoise, Aqua Blue, Sky Blue, Kelley Green and Emerald Green.
